We are incredibly blessed to have a dedicated and passionate staff who serve our congregation with open hearts. Each person brings a unique set of skills and gifts, but they are all united by a single purpose: to serve God and to help us all on our spiritual journeys.
Certified Lay Minister
Pastor Noel Stout
I entered the Lay Servant program and was immediately blessed with a deep longing in my heart to learn everything I could about Wesleyan theology and the role of a Lay Servant. I am inspired by his teachings and I strive to live a life of grace and devotion. Learning about John Wesley and the Methodist movement, reading about his life and example, my own heart felt strangely warmed. From there, I felt the calling to become a lay speaker and then, subsequently, a Lay Minister. God has truly been listening and leading me to this calling. I am a prayer warrior and believe in the power of prayer. In all things, I seek prayer and guidance from God. I have a passion for leading and helping others discover their calling and experience the full measure of God’s love. My heart is ablaze for God’s calling. I feel the Holy Spirit moving and lifting me to continue my love and passion for ministry. It is exciting to feel the Holy Spirit working through me to learn new things and take on new challenges. I have become deeply rooted in the Methodist tradition, and my faith is the foundation of my life. It shapes my thoughts, actions, and purpose. Guided by God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, I find strength in prayer, bible study, worship, communion, and church family. Journaling allows me to reflect on my walk with God, deepening my connection to God’s presence in my daily life. My passion for ministry is to help people find new meaning and purpose in their lives. I hope to bring my gifts and graces to work with Livingston UMC, helping to achieve their dreams for the church and serving the surrounding community. Grace and peace, Noel Stout

Hi everyone! I'm the Office Secretary here at LUMC. Since February 2020, I've had the joy of managing our church office, answering your calls, putting together the weekly Sunday bulletin,also putting together the Link newsletter, and helping to keep our social media updated. I also assist our staff and pastor to keep everything running smoothly. What I love most about my role is the wonderful connections I've made. Some of the members have become like family to me and my husband and two children. I truly enjoy helping this church community, and it's a blessing to serve you all.
